A delegation from the German Table Tennis Association and the table tennis team of Lower Saxony visited our base for an exchange

    On the afternoon of October 19th, Xia Jian 'an, Vice Chairman of the German Table Tennis Association, Chairman and CEO of the Shanghai German Center, and Chairman of the Taicang German Center, along with a delegation of 19 people including leaders and athletes from the Saxony State Table Tennis Association, visited our base for a tour and exchange. This visit aims to deepen the interaction and cooperation between China and Germany in the field of table tennis. The two sides conducted in-depth dialogue and exchanges through a symposium.




Visit and research

     Before the symposium, Qin Junfeng, the Party Secretary and Director of the Foreign Affairs Office of Anhui Province, accompanied by Zhu Hongye, a member of the Party Group and Deputy Director of the Foreign Affairs Office of Huangshan City, and You Qingyun, the General Manager of our base, successively visited the internal facilities of Huiyou Boutique Hotel, catering center, student dormitories, training hall, etc., and learned in detail about the current progress of the Huiyou Phase II Sports Center. The achievements made by Huiyou at the current stage were affirmed and suggestions were put forward. It is encouraged to strengthen international sports cooperation and exchanges in the future, build diplomatic Bridges, and the provincial foreign affairs office will provide assistance.

Hold a discussion and exchange to promote development together

    At the symposium, Qin Junfeng, the Party Secretary and Director of the Foreign Affairs Office of Anhui Province, first extended a warm welcome to the German delegation and gave a detailed introduction to the situation in Anhui and Huangshan. He hoped that through this visit, the leaders of the German Table Tennis Association and German clubs, as well as the leaders of Huangshan Huiyou, would deepen exchanges and reach cooperation intentions after the meeting.

    Xia Jian 'an, vice president of the German Table Tennis Association, expressed his gratitude to Director Qin for his warm welcome and said that this time, the connection between Anhui Province and Huangshan was made through table tennis. He believes that with this friendly match as a new starting point, the exchanges and cooperation between Anhui Province and Lower Saxonia in sports, culture, youth and other fields will be further deepened, and a new chapter in the friendly relations between the provinces and states will be written. This time, we led over a dozen high-level athletes to have exchanges with the base team members. In the future, we will further enhance the interaction between both sides and maintain a good relationship with the Huiyou Base.     The visit of the German Table Tennis Association delegation this time is not only an exchange of skills but also a fusion of ideas. Through discussions and competitions, both sides deepened their understanding, broadened their horizons, and jointly wrote a new chapter of friendly exchanges and mutual promotion in table tennis between China and Germany. The base will continue to keep its doors open, joining hands with table tennis partners around the world to jointly promote this sport to a higher level.
